This class is intended for those in the 9th through 12th grade.  We will be going through the Banning series of books in a detailed level of discussion. 

WELCOME TO HIGH SCHOOL!

Please study the section that deals with objectivity and subjectivity on page 5 and 6. Be able to define each. Scriptures to look up and study will be James 1:21, Deut 12:8, Eph 3:5, I Cor 2:9.

Questions: 1. When Paul stoned Stephen in Acts 7:58, was he using objective or subjective reasoning?

2. Those who cast out demons in Jesus name in Matt 7:21-24, were they using subjective or objective reasoning? Please explain why you answered the way you did.

3. Can we come to understand God's word for our lives through subjective reasoning? If not why not?

4. Can a person be perfectly objective in his judgments?

Please read the first section, pages 2 thru 8 of Establishing Divine Authority or in other words discovering God's will concerning a matter. Key verses for Wed will be II Peter 1:3,4. The main point will be the origin of divine authority. Please answer the two pages of questions as well that were handed out Wed evening.
